Moloko (Closed Permanently)

(27 Ratings)
Snazzy mixed lounge bar in Joburg's design district
Open Thurs-Sun 9pm-late, also open nights before public holidays and for special events. Large, snazzy lounge bar with DJ music. This is Joburg’s design district. Notable for its relaxed (but dressed-up) vibe and diverse clientele– white and black, gay and straight, male and female. Ladies’ nights are fierce. The black-and-gilt-and magenta Louis XVI restaurant (open Tues-Sat, dinner only, 7:30-11 p.m) is in the same complex; Sit down in a magenta banquette and tuck into Alsacian executive chef Bruno’s duck confit and similar stick-to-the-ribs French specialties and pours both French and SA wines. 011 447-6244 to book, or email louisxviinfo@telkomsa.net
