This upscale mainstream chain offers a little bit of each of Africa's many cuisines in a stunning and creatively inspiring Afro-chic setting for lunch, drinks, shisha and dinner, though people tend to go more for the setting than the food. All textiles, fixtures, etc., down to the bathroom sinks, are locally handmade, and the balcony overlooking Zoo Lake (site of Jo'burg Pride) is a tranquil respite from Jo'burg's dichotomous malls and mayhem.
